The beach
The story of Cap d’Agde and the naturist village all started with the wonderful beach. The summers in southern France are almost always hot and dry, and this in combination with the blue sea is a given tourist attractor.
Find your area
The beach in Cap d’Agde is divided into three separate (not seperated) areas. This is more out of tradition and mutual respect for each other than by any kind of law or local regulation. Below you will find a map of the beach itself, and some guiding words so that you will have an easy time to find your favorite spot. Of course there are no walls anywhere, and as an adult you would be welcome everywhere on the beach. As said, it’s all just about mutual respect for one another.
The family beach (blue)
One the family beach of Cap d’Agde, people of all ages are welcome. This is also the part of the beach closest to town, and is also easily accessible from the campsite (Rene Oltra). The level of nudity also varies a bit on this part of the beach, and no funny business is going on. Basically, this beach is for sunbathing and going for a swim, and nothing else.
The swingers beach
(red)
If you are a swinger, and maybe looking for some daytime action, take a stroll along the beach not the east/northeast. When you have passed Paralia Beach Club with about 50 meters, you should expect to be considered visiting the swingers beach. On the swingers beach there are naughty things going on all day long, and something happening almost all the time.
Be aware that due to the sexytime going on, this part of the beach is also visited by single men that enjoys watching others (and sometimes participate) have sex. The dunes behind the beach are especially well visited by single men, so if that is what you seek then you now know where to find it.
Please also be aware that this area is not suitable for children of any age!
The gay beach
(green)
In this area mainly gay people gather in the daytime, and especially if you are traveling as a single gay man this is the perfect spot to find people of mutual interests.
